ASoft OnLine Authorization CMS

This is responsible for providing transaction authorization based on account balance.

There are two modules:

  1. Module 1 stores and knows account balances,
  2. Module 2 contains information pertainining to the system in the surrounding stores and manages accounts to which the card is linked.

ASoftOnline makes a request to the system for the balance. If the system is not available, ASoftOnline gives an authorization on its own.

This feature is available per IIN, meaning that accounts linked to different card products can be managed in different IS subsystems. ASoftOnline is the unique authorization point. ASoftOnline holds accounts for each given positive authorization, and can forward it to other subsystem. Daily financial processing based on financial messages, confirms holds, recreates new account balances and removes holds, preparing the system for the new day. For those transactions that do not receive their financial counterpart after "n" amount of days (an amount defined by the Bank), an automatic procedure removes holds.

ASoftOnline receives authorization requests via ISO8583 protocol. It consists of two components, or layers. First one is the module ROFF that manages the connection with the Host, at communication level. It recognizes communication loss or exception events at sides, processor’s Host and Online module.

GUI interface is available to provide insight and monitoring of the authorized transactions.
