Senior Management



FUNKE ADE-OJO (General Manager)


Funke is the GM of 3Line and part of the founding members of the company. A firm believer that the use of technology is key to better serving Nigerians at the lower end of the pyramid who desperately need financial services.

Before her appointment in February 2009 as GM, she was the Head of Corporate Services (2006-2008) overseeing the HR, finance, admin, legal and compliance units where structures were formulated from scratch. She has over 13 years experience spanning across Retail, Telecommunication, IT, Consulting, and Electronic Payment industries.
She graduated from University of Westminster, London, with a BA Hon in Economics second class upper degree. Thereafter, she gained a Masters in Information Technology from the University of Nottingham where she was awarded a distinction in her dissertation titled ‘Using Collaborative Virtual Emersion to Gain Competitive Advantage in Tourism Industry’ .

She began her career in 1996 as a Sales Executive at DH Evans London the multimillion pound retail business, from where she rose to become an Assistant Manager responsible for the HR, Payroll and Training requirements of over 200 staff.

During the Internet boom, she gained in-depth experience as a Systems Support Analyst working for Accenture, UK. While in Accenure, she was part of the pioneering project team that rolled out a network transformation for UK’s second largest supermarket, Sainsbury’s, resulting in immediate savings of more than £35 million ($50 million) per year. This exposure fuelled her interest in pursuing a career in eCommerce. She joined Auravita Ltd, London, an innovative software development company a subsidiary of Healthe Ltd in Zurich in May 2003 as the B2B Manger responsible for managing the company’s on-line Credit and Payment Market Exchange System that integrated into HSBC’s EDI system to facilitate e-Procurement and Settlement. She managed the logistics of Electronic Invoice presentment and Payment (EIPP), E-procurement modules and coordinated the development of several online B2C portals still being used by the company to date.

Funke’s areas of expertise include the formulation and implementation of business and operational quality controls, compliance, B2B, B2C business process design and training. Passionate about social responsibilities, she is currently the Secretary of the ‘Changing Our World Foundation’ a Christian NGO working to transform the Obalende Area in Ikoyi from the state of deprivation it is in, into a more progressive community.

She is happily married with two children.




CHINEDU ELUCHIE (HEAD OF OPERATIONS)

Mr. Eluchie joined 3Line in September 2008 and currently heads the operations team with ten (10) years cognate experience in transaction and payment operations.

He started his career in the banking industry in the year 2000 with Ecobank Nigeria Plc working in Foreign Operations Unit and later Treasury Operations Department. In 2004 he was selected as member of the Ecobank/Master Card implementation team set up to run the very first dollar denominated credit card scheme by a bank in Nigeria.  His keen interest in electronic payments took him to UBA in March 2007 where he was Head of Settlement and Reconciliation Team for the Card Services Group of the bank.

He has a passion for operational excellence and innovations in electronic payments.

Mr Eluchie has a Higher National Diploma in Finance and Banking from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Owerri. In addition to his MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Lautech) he is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Mr Eluchie is happily married, a keen family man and loves to play football at weekends.
 

 



Olutoyin Oloniteru (Head, Business Development & Information Technology)

Toyin Oloniteru currently works as a management staff at 3Line Card Management Limited with responsibilities for Business Development,  Information Technology & Services Rollout on the Freedom Network to drive revenue growth. He has over 13 years experience in the Information Technology and electronic payment industry with over 8 years at managerial level. Mr. Oloniteru is an international reviewer and program committee member of the United Nations University International Institute for Software Technology, Centre for Electronic Governance (UNU-IIST) – ICEGOV Conferences. He is a member of the postgraduate module environment of the UNESCO Centre for ICT4D at the Royal Holloway, University of London and the Country Organizer for Nigeria – UneGov.net Community of Practice for Electronic Governance .

Toyin was part of the Strategic Management team that set up operationally, technically and managerially Nigeria’s first and Premier ATM Deployer – ATM Consortium Limited (ATMC) having worked in conjunction with Accenture Nigeria and Euronet Worldwide. He successfully led a project team that ensure the technology set up of the company’s integration of the Euronet Switch in Budapest, Hungary (Euronet’s European Operations Headquarters) to the Interswitch Nigeria’s SuperSwitch for ATM driving, transaction processing and switching. He also led the effort to decouple the ATMC’s QuickCash network from Euronet’s network and integrate same to the Interswitch’s network.

Toyin has his first degree in Mathematics and Statistic (B.Sc) at the University of Lagos, Akoka. He has an M.Sc in ICT Technologies & System (with specialization in Engineering and Technology) under the Nettel@Africa Programme in ICT Policy & Regulations also at the University of Lagos. Toyin also has a Master in International Law & Diplomacy (MILD) also of the University of Lagos.

Other qualifications include an MBA from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) and have completed an LLM in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law at the Law School, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Currently, he is a Block Mode Post Graduate Researcher in Information Security at the Information Security Group (ISG) and the SmartCard Center of Excellence at the Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), Egham, Surrey.

Mr. Oloniteru has been trained at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (Strategic Framework for Non Profit Organizations – SFNO), and the Center for Public Policy and Administration and Department of Natural Resource Conservation, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA (in the area of Free/Libre Open Source Geographic Information System – FOSS GIS).
